Executive Summary

The State of Texas, by and through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), issues this Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit Special Services for Persons with Disabilities (SSPD). SSPD services people of age 18 or older who qualify for Medicaid or meet the Title XX income and resource limits set by HHSC. The goal of the SSPD program is to enable consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to achieve habilitative or rehabilitative goals.
