Executive Summary
The State of Texas, by and through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), on behalf of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) (System Agency) Tuberculosis and Hansen's Disease Unit, seeks Applications from qualified Respondents with the ability to ensure tuberculosis (TB) services are performed by binational TB programs located outside the United States territory in accordance with standards set forth by System Agency. The Grantee serves as the fiduciary agency and provides operational oversight to binational TB programs located in Mexico. Grantee shall also be responsible for ensuring permitted travel across international boundaries for specimen submission, medication and other supplies as needed to maintain effective binational TB operations in Mexico.
