The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Children's Advocacy Program (CAP) seeks a qualified Applicant from statewide non-profit organizations that are composed of individuals who have expertise in the establishment and operation of children's advocacy center programs. The Applicant must provide training, technical assistance, evaluation services, and funds administration to support contractual requirements under Texas Family Code§ 264.411 for local children's advocacy center programs. The Applicant shall contract with local children's advocacy center programs that meet the requirements of the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Title 1, Part 15, Chapter 377 and provide the following services: assess victims of child abuse or neglect to determine needed services and provide the needed services; provide a facility at which a multidisciplinary team can meet to facilitate the disposition of child abusecases; and coordinate the activities of governmental entities in relation to child abuse investigations and the delivery of services.
