Executive Summary
HHSC is seeking Applications to establish Contract(s) for the provision of Home and Community-Based Services Mental Health (HCBS-AMH) Recovery Management services for adults with a diagnosis of serious mental illness and have a history of the following additional criteria: Long-term psychiatric hospitalization(s); Frequent arrests and psychiatric crisis; and Frequent emergency department (ED) visits and psychiatric crisis. The HCBS-AMH program serves adults with an array of services matched to each person's needs. The goal is to help the person experience successful tenure in their chosen community and support long-term recovery from mental illness.
